Our story

The idea for Bulkkinen was born at the end of a fun night out in late 2020. The original plan was to sell gym training programs and meal plans, with a bit of gear on the side. Very quickly we noticed that the clothes were selling well, and the rest of the business took a back seat.

In our first year of business, we signed a partnership with the Finnish Fitness Sports Association (Suomen Fitnessurheilu ry), and ever since we've been supplying the official outfits for the Finnish national team each year. We also supply team apparel to other sports clubs.

Initially our target audience was fitness competitors and gym enthusiasts, but today Bulkkinen clothing works for everyone, both in sports and everyday life.

From the start, we wanted to offer high-quality clothing at reasonable prices. Production takes place mainly in China, and we've made factory visits to ensure the quality and processes of our production. We design our clothes together with the factory designers.
